Nuit Blanche Winnipeg is a free all-night exploration and celebration of contemporary art that takes place on the Saturday of the Culture Days weekend from dusk to dawn. Debuting in Winnipeg in September 2010 the concept of Nuit Blanche originated in France in 1984 and has since spread to many cities around the world.
The goal for this project was to create a responsive website resdesign for a local organization of our choice. I used some of my own photography in the design and created a simple aesthetic that can easily be applied throughout the website to create consistency. I added a few key features that were not included in the original site such as a contact form on the home page to make it easier for volunteers and artists to get involved with the event as well as a vertical sticky nav bar to ease user flow and maximize real estate for imagery.
